The World Peace Prayer Society organizes Peace Pals International program for Global Awareness in Youth around the World.
The World Peace Prayer Society (WPPS) has been affiliated with the United Nations Department of Public Information as a non-governmental organisation (NGO) since 1990. Its at the United Nations (UN) is to bring the prayer ‘May Peace Prevail on Earth’ into the workings of the UN – including governments, agencies, departments, NGOs and events. This neutral, universal prayer can serve as a spiritual bridge, even in a secular setting, among people from all parts of the world.
The Peace Pals International is a programme of the WPPS, which promotes the message ‘May Peace Prevail On Earth’ as a simple, universal expression to unite the hearts of all people in our common desire and hope for peace on earth.
Eligibility-
The programme is designed to encourage youth, ages 5-19 to become peacemakers dedicated to living in the spirit of the words, ‘May Peace Prevail On Earth’.
