Thank you for the information that we always received from your good office..Gabay is a group of parents with disability and special children in the community..We started as an association 2008 then became a cooperative 2009..Just this year 2012, we decided to have a program for our disability children, thus the Gabay Community based Rehabilitation Center was established to cater the needs of children with disability and special needs in the community, as part of our advocacy and social awareness in the community..One of our objectives why we do this program/project, so that we can help the disadvantage families most particularly our own families who are in need of Rehabilitation Center for our own children. since, Most of us in our group, cannot really afford the therapy and educaion needed for our own children with disability…After a long years of struggling, fighting, and advocating for the rights of our special children, then the local government heard our voices thus they gave a place where we can do our community base rehabilitation center.. our local government gave us only the full used of the building that can do our therapy for our children. So we started without any educational materials and even an equipment to be used for our special children but we just asked donations from the kind hearted individuals so that we can continue and pursue what we want for our children with special needs. The center was established with the help of the parents and our groups… the center sustained only through donations and support from the parents and as well as our group (Gabay Cooperative). as of now we lacked of funds and we need to develop our facilities to improved the quality of our services, but,we find it difficult to sustain due to lacked of financial resources.. Hope you can refer us to any corporations that can really help us in order that we can sustain till the end for the benefits of our children with special needs and the disadvantage families who are in need of our services in the community. Many families in our place who cannot afford for therapy and sped education…So if we can find support from other institutions and foundation i think our community base rehabilitation center can continue to served the families who are in need of therapy and sped education services in the community….Hope that our rehabilitation center can find a sponsor or can access a funds that can help our special children to fully develop their fullest potential..Please help us or refer us to somebody who can really help our group especially our disability children …The Center was run by the parents with special children and with the support from the trained licensed nurses in the community..for more information you can see our facebook account. Gabay Community Base Rehabilitation Center..or Gabay Cooperative you may contact as in our eamil address at for more details of our group…we are willing to submit any documents if needed…
Sincerely yours,
