The “Istanbul Policy Center – Sabanc &University – Mercator Foundation Initiative” was founded on the conviction that the German-Turkish relationship is of central importance for the future of both countries in a European context. Especially in times of great political and economic challenges facing the countries of Europe, which enter into the Mercator Foundation and Sabanci University has a longstanding partnership in the field of science funding to strengthen the German-Turkish and Turkish-European relations and develop sustainably.
Eligibility-
Prerequisite for the application is an innovative research or practical project, which is located in one of three topics, as well as concrete ideas as to how its findings to be socially visible and politically active. -In addition, a focus of the program is on that broaching the results of the projects to decision makers in politics, economy and society and to sensitize the general public for the content.
