Setu Foundation’s Grant Opportunity for NGOs in India

The Setu Foundation has launched the Setu Grant Program 2012 to provide funding support for NGOs that are innovating to empower women and promote girl child education in India.

Setu Grant Programme 2012 is an attempt to recognize and support innovations in the areas of education, health and well-being, economic security and livelihoods, social and cultural rights and governance. The objective is to recognise and support organizations with innovate schemes to tackle the various challenges facing women in India.

The overall vision of the program is to recognize, promote and support outstanding innovations that are catalysing positive change across India. Organizations can request a total grant support of up to Rs. 10,00,000 (Rupees Ten Lacs).

SETU Foundation is a charitable organization with the mission endeavouring to save and empower the   underprivileged in partnership with like minded organizations that endorse and share our values of transparency and accountability.

The jury will evaluate the application forms received across the categories on the following parameters:

  • Innovation in:
    • Idea, and/or
    • Implementation
  • Direct social impact
  • Sustainability of the initiative

Applicants applying for the Grants should be registered in India as one of the following entities:

  • Trusts
  • Societies
  • Not for profit companies u/s 25 of the Companies Act, 1956.

    Our organization has been involving in several rural sector socio-economical activities i.e.Health,Education,Water & sanitation,Welfare of older person,Agrl.Dvelopment,Income generation prog. for SHG and unemployed youth ,Women & child care , spread of folk dance & Music, in culture,Sports for rural youth etc.

    Due to scanty opportunity of funds and resources our organization could not provided sufficient assistance to needy activities and we hope your helpage in kind of resource and financial will facilitate our campign positively.

  7. The Social and Humanizing Action for Rural Poor(SHARP) is a registered voluntary service, working to reach the un-reached of Khammam district since, 1996.

    Our major concept is MOTIVATION, MOBILIZATION & ORGANIZATION of the poorest of the poor communities to uplift themselves through the various developmental activities, which are meant for them by the government and non-governmental agencies.

    We are seeking for financial support through grants to be implemented the activities among the needy communities.
