The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bankok is currently inviting proposals from the organizations with legal capacity for the Small-scale local project (SLP) for Lao PDR.
These projects (SLP) are complementary to the large multiple-year projects funded by the Czech Development Agency (CzDA) and are an important component of the Czech Republic Development Cooperation since 2006. The project can focus on various sectors – preferably health, education, social services and agriculture. All projects should be in accordance with the national development strategy and should promote gender equality and respect for the environment.
Grants Available
The Czech Republic funding and total allocation for this project in Lao PDR is from 200,000 CZK (app. 8,000 USD) minimum to 300,000 CZK (app. USD 12,000) maximum.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations with legal capacity in Lao PDR can submit their SLP proposal(s):
- local non-governmental, community and not-for-profit organizations;
- local academic institutions working on local projects;
- international, intergovernmental, multilateral and regional institutions, organizations and agencies working on local development activities;
- municipal, regional or national government institutions or agencies of the recipient country working on local projects.
