For the sake of our clarity and better understanding to write the concept note to apply for the Impact Window funding of DFID’s Global Poverty Action Fund, we will use “Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women” as our example theme. We are proposing a project to “Improving the Rights of Women for their Better Participation in Social, Economic and Political Systems,” to be implemented in Nepal as an example case.
As you can see in the example snapshot provided above, the application form begins from Page 2 with the Section 1: Basic Information.
Make sure your project title is interesting and related to the objectives and the main theme of the project and write it down in 1.1: Project title.
After stating the country, make sure you specify the 1.3: Locality(ies)/Region(s) within country(ies). It could be a state, province or district.
1.4 Project duration is the number of months for which the project is proposed or implemented. It could be 12, 24 or 36 months. The maximum duration for which a project can seek support is 36 months and not more than that.
