Call for Proposals-Improved Integration of Disabled Persons into Society Grant Scheme

The overall objective of this Call for Proposals is to ensure equal access to goods, services and all aspects of life, to people with disabilities.

The specific objective of the Call for Proposals is to strengthen capacities of CSOs of persons with disabilities and of CSOs defending the rights of persons with disabilities and to enhance the dialogue between the General Directorate on Services to Disabled Persons and Seniors and the CSOs in the realm of disability.

It is expected that the project will improve CSOs’ networks and also the General Directorate on Services to Disabled Persons and Seniors-CSOs dialogue in the disability field in order to ensure active participation of persons with disabilities in every realm of societal life. In this respect, the project will contribute to raise awareness on participation of CSOs in decision-making processes.
It is also expected that the project will strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations of people with disabilities and of civil society organizations defending the rights of persons with disabilities and enhance the public authorities-civil society dialogue in the disability field.

It is conceived that the project will create a great synergy for the improvement of capacities of CSOs and their empowerment in decision-making processes by advising policies and projects in the realm of disability in terms of ensuring social integration, equal access to goods, services, and full participation.

ELIGIBILITY-

• be legal persons
• be non profit making
• be non-governmental organisations (CSOs)
• be established in a Member State of the European Union  or Turkey
• be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the Action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary.
