Deadline: 16 November 2015
The King Baudouin Foundation is currently inviting applications from Elisabeth & Amelie Fund which aims to instigate a new form of support for sustainable water management in developing countries by financing on-the-spot internships for students from developing countries who are studying in Belgium. The Fund takes into consideration an integrated approach to water management that includes technical and/or sociological aspects.
The internship will take place in a developing country (the student’s country of origin or another country). It will be tied to a master’s degree (or equivalent) and under the responsibility of the academic institution where the student is studying in Belgium. The stay must take place during the academic year 2015-2016, between December 2015 and the end of August 2016.
The duration of stay can vary between one and two months.
Thematic Area
The object of study must directly relate to the theme of water (access to water or water management) and correspond with an integrated approach to the issue (technical and/or social aspects).

Part of this budget (max. € 2,500) can be used for a specific spin-off project which will be launched by the student during or after his/her stay in the South. The student should submit a budget proposal as part of his/her application. Ten mobility grants will be awarded for this call.
