The Paul Hamlyn Foundation is an UK-based grantmaking organization supporting overseas NGOs, especially in India and the UK, and provides funding to local NGOs working with disadvataged communities, helping them access basic services. It is also one of the larger foundations in the UK. Grants are generally given to NGOs who find difficult to raise funds from other sources. It means they try to support smaller organizations.

It provides grants in two main areas, namely, education and social justice, besides arts, which only addresses the needs of artiss. NGOs can seek support for projects relating to schools and child development, though this is mostly confined to the UK. The Social Justice Programme aims to ” marginalised individuals and communities so that they become integrated.
