M·A·C AIDS Fund

The M·A·C AIDS Fund Affiliate Grants Program established by the M·A·C Cosmetics is now open to accept applications from NGOs relating to HIV/AIDS in countries where M·A·C Cosmetics has its affiliate offices. These countries include the following:

Asia Pacific: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand

Europe/Africa: Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Portugal, South Africa, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Ireland, United Kingdom (Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) and Turkey

Middle East/India: India and Israel

Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Mexico and Peru

The Fund specifically aims to provide grants to NGOs that implement programs addressing ” the link between poverty and HIV and AIDS, and HIV prevention programs…Examples of the kinds of services eligible for funding under this program include, but are not limited to, food and nutrition, transportation assistance, support services for families, prevention and education, treatment adherence, and housing.”

The grant application can be accessed online. But before applying for the grant, NGOs need to find out if they are eligible to apply for it by taking the eligibility quiz, available at this link.

Grant proposals are accepted round the year. The deadlines are March 13th, June 15th, September 15th, and December 15th. For more information, visit this link.
