John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation

The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation is one of the largest private grantmaking Foundation in the United States. It has a worldwide presence and has been actively supporting NGOs in implementing projects on different issues and services in developing countries. The Foundation provides funding to NGOs i following areas:

  • Human Rights and International Justice
  • International Peace and Security
  • Global Migration and Human Mobility
  • Population and Reproductive Health
The Foundation has an open call for proposals all through the year. So NGOs around the world are invited to contact the Foundation for support. However, organizations need to go through the grantmaking guidelines carefully before applying for any support.
