The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation is one of the largest private grantmaking Foundation in the United States. The Foundation provides funding to NGOs i following areas:

The Foundation has an open call for proposals all through the year. So NGOs around the world are invited to contact the Foundation for support. However, organizations need to go through the grantmaking guidelines carefully before applying for any support.
