Starbucks Social Entrepreneurs Fund

The Starbucks Social Entrepreneurs Fund provides grants to organizations working for youths in the US and around the world. Organizations that provide training to young people so that they can develop necessary skills and knowledge, develop leadership skills among young social entrepreneurs and communicate their success stories. NGOs can seek grants from US $10,000 to $25,000 from the Starbucks Social Entrepreneurs Fund. The proposals need to clearly mention the targeted youth group and provide information about the activities undertaken. Grantee organizations can cover their general expenditure including staff salaries up to 50% of the total amount from the grant received from this Fund.

Initially, the grant is available for one year, but it can also be extended for three years based on review and performance. After a period of three year grant support, organizations need to take a one year off before reapplying. Proposals are accepted throughout the year but are reviewed only on quarterly basis.
