The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy (TFD) works to strengthen democracy and human rights in Taiwan. It is the first national democracy assistance foundation in Asia and it is based in Taiwan. It is committed to promote democracy in Asia and works with like-minded organizations and individuals. It provides grants internationally to address issues related to its themes of focus. The grants are provided for projects related to advocacy, research, conferences, publications and education programs.
NGOs ca apply for funding from the Taiwan Foundation during any part of the year. Applicants need to complete the International Grant Application form, available at this link along with budgetary details. The application has to be submitted at least three months prior to the inception of the project activities.
