AUSAID annually announces the Australian Development Research Awards, which provide funding for research organizations and institutions around the world to undertake quality research for policy development and also for taking stock of the knowledge available on developmental issues. The priority themes under this funding scheme include development effectiveness, disability, economics, education, environment, food security, gender, governance and state building and health. Funding rounds are announced once in a year and the funds available under this scheme can be between $50,000 to $250,000. Applications for the scheme can be applied online. Link.
