The United States Agency for International Development(USIAD) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified U.S and Non-U.S organizations to fund a program entitled Reconciliation Activity.
Objectives
- Improved capacity of the GOC for truth-telling and memory mechanisms;
- Improved capacity of the GOC to design and implement an awareness and positive messaging strategy supporting reconciliation;
- Strategic alliances fostered among the public sector at all levels, the private sector, civil society organizations and other donors, in order to support local level reconciliation initiatives.
Funding Information
USAID intends to provide between $50,000,000.00 and $55,000,000.00 in total USAID funding over a 4 year period.
Eligibility Criteria
- U.S and non-U.S organizations may participate for the programme.
- Applications from organizations which have not previously received financial assistance from USAID are welcomed by USAID.
- Applicants must have established financial mangement, monitoring and evaluation process, internal control systems, and policies and procedures that comply with the established U.S Government standards, laws and regulation.
- The Recipient must be a responsible entity.
