The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Senior Monitoring Verification Advisor based in London, UK.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Senior Monitoring Verification Advisor will perform the following functions-
- Monitor and report on TCRF implementation
- Prepare the annual and ad hoc TCRF reports as requested
- Identify emerging challenges and potential opportunities
- Develop initiatives as needed to reinforce change process
- Comment on Bank strategic and operational documents as requested by the Director, TC Team
- Prepare/update guidance notes, templates and Operation Manual procedures as required
- Ensure an updated TC lessons database is accessible to TC users
- Advise Operation Leaders and TC Advisors on the quality of TC projects submitted to the TC Com
- Advise on TC Request System implementation including updates as necessary
- As a TC Com member provide advice on quality of TC project submissions
- Lead the ex-post TC results assessment program including field assessments
- Verify the integrity of evidence-based assessment in TC progress and completion reports
- Exercise independent judgment calls on the quality of results reported in monitoring and evaluation reports
- Design and deliver TC training to EBRD staff
- Mentor TC Team Advisors to effectively advise on TC project design, reporting and evaluation
- Represent TC Team on internal groups as requested by Director, TC Team
- Represent TC Team in international fora including the MDB Portfolio Management Working Group on an ad hoc basis
- Develop measures to track TC Team support to TCRF implementation
- Provide direct line management of TC Team staff on specifically delegated basis for TCRF
- Provide comments on evaluation reports to management of TC Team.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Extensive experience in managing operations relevant to EBRD’s areas of focus
- Extensive professional experience in results-based project and portfolio management, policies and practices within a multilateral or national public financial organisation
- Up to date knowledge of project design and management principles, methods, tools and practices and an ability to draw selectively from and to apply global best practices
- Extensive project evaluation experience
- Proven negotiation, problem solving and facilitation skills
- Trainer of trainers with extensive experience in designing and delivering training, coaching and mentoring staff
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- High computer literacy
- Ability to perform well and work effectively under pressure with high workloads
- Ability to work independently with good organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Service/client driven, diplomatic, helpful and with good team spirit
- Attracted to the multicultural environment of EBRD as well as to the mission of the Bank
- Advanced degree in Business Studies, Economics or related field.
