The Amnesty International (AI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Volunteer – Iran Team based in London, UK.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Volunteer – Iran Team will perform the following functions-
- Monitor the news on the internet on a daily basis. Relevant articles are then filed electronically into databases and particularly important news items forwarded to the team by email.
- The volunteer will be assisting in monitoring the Persian and sometimes English press, and filing accordingly;
- The volunteer may carry out routine/office based secondary research under supervision of the team;
- The volunteer will be asked to translate documents when needed;
- Administrative tasks such as updating logs.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Fluent level of written and spoken Persian;
- Good level of written and spoken English;
- Good working knowledge of computers: familiarity with word and excel;
- Good level of inter-personal and communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Ability to work independently;
- Willingness to undertake administrative work like updating logs and archiving;
- Background through study, work or other experience in a relevant area such as social sciences or law.
