This funding opportunity is available only for “small” UK-based not for profit organizations.
The Innovation Window funding is part of DFID’s Global Poverty Action Fund (GPAF) aimed to fund poverty reduction initiatives that are ground-breaking and new. Civil society organizations can submit innovative proposals that deliver real benefits for men, women, boys and girls. These may be small scale service delivery projects but should emphasise learning to allow scaling up. Innovation grants will encourage potentially higher rewards from ground-breaking work.
Proposals can be submitted with proposed funding of up to a total value of £250,000. These may be small scale service delivery projects but should emphasise learning to allow scaling up. Innovation grants will encourage potentially higher rewards from ground-breaking work.

We in Zimbabwe greatly need your intervention with much focus on poverty alliviation as to give a sustainable innovative skills base to the youth in school and out of school through Arts and Crafts. We are a legally registered Trust(Faith Community Support Trust) working with orphans and vulnerable children through a Drop-In Centre Project in Harare. As a small organisation we know it may be difficult to break through the forest of those already established but our innovativeness will allow us to be noticed. When next you have funding available for small organisations we wish that you consider us as well.Thank you for the great work you are already doing in my nation.
