World's Children's Prize for the Rights of the Child (WCPRC)

World’s Children’s Prize for the Rights of the Child (WCPRC) is an international prize awarded to three organizations or individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the field of child rights. The prize is offered globally and any organization of individual can apply for it from any part of the world. The prize is presented by children themselves and it is also an opportunity for them to meet and interact with role models who have been working and contributing for upholding child rights in different parts of the world.

The WCPRC was founded by the Children’s World, a Swedish organization, but now is supported by many other organizations, schools and individuals around the world. The WCPRC is awarded annually. Organizations or individuals can send their nominations, but no self-nominations are accepted by WCPRC. The last date for submitting nominations is 1 March 2009.

The nomination form is available at this link and more information about WCPRC can be accessed at this link.
