EL-SHADDAI FAITH TOWER TRUST

I am Sathish, the Managing trustee of EL-SHADDAI FAITH TOWER. I was inspired by Dr M.S. Udayamurthy’s book “Ennangal” (Thoughts), wherein he talks about sowing good thoughts into our hearts.

We come across so many instances, in our day to day life, wherein a child is denied even the basic education. This should not be so. I strongly believe that with education a better India can be built. I recall, the prayer time in my school days where we take an oath saying, “India is our country, all Indians are my brothers and sisters.” But how many of us can really touch our hearts and say, “I follow this oath?” Very few.

I would like to prove a point by an illustration. Suppose, a bike rider when starting his bike from its stationary position forgets to kick off the side stand of his bike and just accelerates it into motion, it will be noticed that there will always be some passers-by who catch a glimpse of it and try conveying this act of negligence to the bike rider. Why? So, that he / she riding the bike can evade a mishap or an accident or avoid any such casualties.

Now, applying the same, to our motto, that is if this kind of courtesy could be adopted towards education, viz., offering a helping hand, to eradicate illiteracy, we can help build a better society for a better tomorrow through the means of education.
