The Women’s Rights Prize from the The Peter and Patricia Gruber Foundation is for individuals and NGOs “who have made significant contributions to human rights that advance the rights of women and girls around the world.” The prize includes a gold medal and a cash prize of US $500,000 to be awarded at the international-level. No self-nominations are accepted and the last date for submitting nominations is 15 December 2008. More details, including the nomination form is available at this link.
