Varsity Tutors is inviting students for its monthly college scholarship contest where students will be asked to write an essay in response to monthly prompt.
Prize Information
The top five entries with the most votes will be reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner will be subsequently chosen to receive the $1,000 college scholarship.
Selection Criteria
One Grand Prize Winner will be chosen from all eligible submissions received during the Promotion Entry Period in two rounds:
- Online voting-visitors to the Varsity Tutors site will be invited to vote for eligible entries received and posted for Round 1.
- The top 5 eligible entries selected during Round 1 will be judged by a panel of independent judges selected by Sponsor and the team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility is limited to individuals who are at least 16 years of age on or before their entry into the Promotion.
- The individuals must be legal residents of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia as of September 01, 2015.
- Previous winners of Promotion may not enter again. The Promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and is void where prohibited by law.
- Any person that is otherwise prohibited by contract, law or other rule from participating in contests of a nature similar to the Promotion is not eligible to win any prizes in conjunction with the promotion.
