Request for Health-related Proposals from McLaughlin-Rotman Centre

McLaughlin-Rotman Centre for Global Health (MRC) and its Ethical, Social and Cultural Program for the Grand Challenges in Global Health (GCGH) are seeking proposals from NGOs (as wellas from individuals, institutions and companies) to implement projects based upon the use of technologies “that arise from the GCGH projects.” NGOs from middle-income and low-income (developing) countries, as defined by the World Bank, can submit proposals to implement projects in their own areas. The focal areas include ‘Diagnostics,’ ‘Vaccine Delivery Technologies,’ ‘Modified Insect Vectors’ and ‘Nutritionally Enhanced Foods.’ Proposals have to be submitted by email and the last date of submission is 16 January 2009.
