The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust funding on Peace

The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust is seeking grant applications from NGOs to seek funding support under its Peace One-Offs scheme. The Peaceful Relations Grant focuses upon “settling differences peacefully between states, communities, ethnic or faith groups, or other bodies in situations of mutual hostility and conflict.” The other part of the grant focuses upon elimination of weapons of mass destruction. Organizations should have relevant experience in the field to apply for these grants. The deadline for submitting the proposals is 15 December 2008.
