USAID Zimbabwe Funding for HIV Care and Treatment (HCT) Mechanism

The US Agency for International Development’s Mission in Zimbabwe (USAID/Zimbabwe) is seeking applications from organizations interested in implementing the Zimbabwe HIV Care and Treatment (HCT) Mechanism.

Goals of HCT Mechanism

  1. To increase the availability of high quality comprehensive care and treatment services for HIV-positives at community level,
  2. To strengthen community-level health systems to monitor, track and maintain persons living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA) in care.

Award Information

USAID intends to provide approximately $35,000,000 to be allocated over a 5-year period for this program. USAID/Zimbabwe anticipates a 5-year period of performance from approximately September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2020.

Eligibility Information

  • Eligible organizations include US non-federal (non-profit) entities, US commercial firms foregoing profit, faith-based organizations, foreign organizations and foreign public entities.
  • USAID encourages applications from potential new partners.
