I am a Secretary to one NGO (Amrapali) in India. The region I am working (Vidarbha, Maharashtra, India) is one of the most backward in spite of being located in on of the better off states of India. The people from the area suffer due to lack of health facilities and many death which can be easily prevented are reported frequently. Every time time I visit the area I think that the health services must be improved.

I am looking for small grant/ support of about USD 200,000 to establish health and information centres that can provide 24×7 helpline and counsellingg, connect patients to the cities in a better way, provide ambulance facilities, etc. These support could serve population in more than 200 villages
