Elle Foundation has been supporting the development, emancipation and women’s place in society since its establishment in 2004. It provides financial support to projects that aim to promote the empowerment of women through education, training and information.
Organizations in developing countries should partner with a French or European association to apply for the fund to Elle Foundation.

Past Projects
- ELLE Foundation supported the project- Girl Soccer Academy in Kenya providing all necessary means for the “Girl Soccer Academy” operates in the best possible conditions.
- The foundation assisted vulnerable young women in Nepal, being trafficked and enhanced their skills. With SAX, thirty young women learnt to sew and make bags and clothes, which were then sold on the local market and France.
- ELLE Foundation worked with women as victims of rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo weapon of war, in partnership with Dr. Denis Mukwege who operated and treated women “survivors of sexual violence” in the region of Bukavu in eastern Congo.
Eligibility Criteria
- Project must be presented by a French or European association who is the partner of the IT and guarantor of the project management and the proper use of funds.
- Project activities should focus on education, training and information.
- Applications cannot be forwarded by individuals.
- The direct beneficiaries of the projects must be women and girls.
How to Apply
- To submit your project read the guidelines and send project proposal via email or regular mail.
- If all eligibility criteria are met, the project is presented to the Board of Directors of the ELLE Foundation, which meets twice a year.
