Proponent Organization will introduce its Leadership Development Programme (LDP) to Nepalese NGOs under this activity. The purpose of LDP, part of Proponent Organization’s NGO capacity building initiative known as Partner Development Programme (PDP), is to develop the ability of key community, NGO and civil society leaders to provide effective strategic leadership to their organizations. It is based on an approach to development that recognizes the inter-dependent between economic and social development, organizational development and personal development.
Justification
This activity works to fulfil one of the objectives of the proposed action. It will strengthen NGOs in effectively managing community-based services, in improving quality of these services continually and in transforming the organisation to meet development challenges..
Role of Partners
Proponent Organization: Proponent Organization will play in the lead role in managing this activity. The international staff at Proponent Organization will be involved in designing and implementing this training.
Partner NGOs: Partner NGOs and other interested NGOs will be the core trainees receiving training under this activity.
