Church World Service (CWS) is operating since 1979 doing development, humanitarian response and partnership peace work in remote rural areas of six provinces: Kompong Thom, Preah Vihear, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Odor Meanchey Svay Rieng in Cambodia. CWS is staffed by 75 persons. Currently seeking application for the position Reporting & Communication Officer to be based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with regular visits to projects. The job involves producing CWS official reports quarterly, mid-year, annual, special reports required by Royal Government donors under supervision of the Director-Programming Support.
Job Duties:
• Review reports prepared by programs (quarterly, mid-year, annual, end project report) submission CWS Headquarters, government, donors, other interested bodies
• Edit compile reports; quarterly, semi-annual annual reports
• Provide routine follow up report timeframes ensure drafts/reports submission by programs/projects
• Ensure data collected are safe harm/loss easily retrievable use
• Collect, update maintain background information proposal development
• Act gate keeper potential funding opportunity information new proposals
Job Requirements
• Have excellent written English, high verbal comprehension
• Have excellent written Khmer correct verbal communication skills
• Hold university degree and/or equivalent skill knowledge gained through working INGOs
• At least 2 years experience report writing, brochure/leaflet designs, editing case studies
• Possess good interpersonal communication skills, ability work in team
• Have good knowledge Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, Internet Outlook Express
