The Population Action International (PAI) recently launched “The Integration Partnership (TIP) which is a two-yea advocacy program with a goal to increase country demand for RH/HIV integration – including provision of RH supplies – as well as priority and resources dedicated to RH/HIV integration within the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria and US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief/ Global Health Initiative (PEPFAR/GHI).
Through TIP and these small grants, PAI intends to strengthen the capacity of local and national civil society organizations to identify and take advantage of advocacy opportunities for advancing RH/HIV integration within policies and structures of the Global Fund, PEPFAR/GHI, and their national governments.
The request for proposals is for civil society organizations in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zambia to develop and implement country-level advocacy strategies to accelerate demand for RH/HIV integrated services and promote CSOs engagement and informed decision-making about RH/HIV integrated strategies.
Awards up to a maximum of $35,000 USD per approved proposal will be distributed. Proposals are accepted in English, French and Spanish although English submissions are highly encouraged. Grant periods can be no longer than a maximum of 18 months, thus activities must be shown to achieve results in a one-year period.
