Technology has grown at an unparalleled rate in recent decades, with smartphones, tablets, and laptops becoming commonplace tools in homes and schools. Children are exposed to screens at a young age for both educational and recreational objectives.
While technology has transformed schooling and opened up new opportunities for creativity, it has also prompted worries about its impact on cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Cognitive Development: According to research, excessive screen usage, particularly for passive activities such as watching videos or playing games, can potentially harm children’s cognitive development.
