This proposal seeks funding for the “Safe Haven” program, designed to provide comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence. Our program will offer emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, and long-term support to survivors, aiming to ensure their safety, promote healing, and empower them towards independent living. We plan to support 300 victims over the next year, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive environment for recovery and empowerment.
Problem Statement
Domestic violence affects millions of individuals worldwide, leading to severe physical, emotional, and psychological harm. Victims often face barriers to accessing help, including fear of retaliation, financial dependency, and lack of awareness about available resources. Addressing domestic violence requires a multi-faceted approach that includes immediate protection, emotional support, legal assistance, and long-term recovery planning.
