Access to healthcare services in rural areas is often limited due to geographic, economic, and infrastructural challenges. Community Health Workers (CHWs) play a crucial role in bridging the gap between rural communities and healthcare facilities by providing essential services such as health education, basic medical care, and disease prevention. This proposal aims to strengthen the capacity of CHWs in rural areas to improve health outcomes and ensure access to quality healthcare for underserved populations.
Rural communities face significant health disparities due to limited access to medical services, lack of health education, and inadequate infrastructure. Community Health Workers often operate with minimal training, resources, and support, limiting their effectiveness in addressing the complex health needs of these communities. This project seeks to enhance the skills, resources, and reach of CHWs to provide sustainable health solutions in rural areas.
