The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Chisinau, accredited to the Republic of Moldova, from Bucharest, has announced a new call for proposals in the frame of the Small Project Fund for the Republic of Moldova aimed at promoting the development of civil society, rule of law, democratization and reconciliation, as well as capacity building and the strengthening of institutions in Moldova.
Local, national and international authorities and non-governmental organizations in the Republic of Moldova are invited to submit their project proposals at the embassy before the deadline.
The main target areas for project cooperation are:
– Democracy and human rights
– Justice and home affairs
– Gender and anti-trafficking
– Education, integration and cultural understanding
In most cases, the size of the grants ranges from EUR 1.000 to EUR 8.000.

The Royal Norwegian Embassy has been providing financial support to development projects in the Republic of Moldova under the Small Project Fund since 2002. During the past 9 years more than 100 NGOs and local institutions have implemented projects financed under this fund. They have contributed to fostering democracy and rule of law in Moldova.
