Founded in 2006, Atlas Corps is a network of nonprofit leaders and organizations functioning in different regions of the world. This network works to support innovation, collaboration, and solutions for various issues and challenges being faced by the global society in 21st century. Atlas Corps aims to develop leaders and strengthening organizations through an overseas fellowship of skilled nonprofit professionals.
Atlas Corps is currently inviting proposals from organizations in the US to Host Nonprofit Leaders from Overseas. Atlas Corps seeks organizations located in the United States to host nonprofit leaders from overseas in a 12 to 18 month professional fellowship. All Fellows have 2 to 10 years of experience, bachelors or graduate degrees, and are fluent in English. Host Organizations provide a cost share that supports 70% of the overall Fellowship expenses. Atlas Corps handles all logistics including travel, J-1 visa, health care, living stipend, and orientation.
Potential Satellite Host Organizations: Organizations located in USA (not including in New York or Washington, DC).
Atlas Corps Satellite Host Organizations (SHO) are dynamic entities that serve domestic and/or international populations and focus on issues from hunger relief to education to the environment. - Assist with housing arrangements for Fellow (Fellow pays own housing) that is economically feasible on Fellow’s living stipend; safe; convenient to office and/or public transportation; and fully/partially furnished.
- Recruit a “local ambassador” for each Fellow who is a local individual (not an employee of the organization) committed to be a connection to the local community.
