Kyoto Prize Journalism Fellowships aims to offer modern education in the sciences and reflective education in philosophy, society and the arts.
Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) invites the Kyoto Prize Journalism Fellowships. These fellowships, available in the fall and the spring, are awarded to journalists who have attained a level of excellence in their field and who hope to advance their knowledge in the areas of technology, sciences and the arts. Through the fellowships, the selected journalists gain a valuable understanding and historical context of the Kyoto Prize
Spring Journalism Fellowship
The spring journalism fellow will to travel to San Diego for the Kyoto Prize Symposium to participate in dynamic learning experiences with each Laureate at small VIP receptions, lectures, presentations, and workshops. The fellow will also be provided with special access to the Laureates and also an opportunity to interact with PLNU’s top journalism students.
The Kyoto Prize Symposium will be March 20-22, 2012
Applications will be available on January 9, 2012
The deadline to apply is February 16, 2012
The fellowship recipient will be announced February 21, 2012
