The short course on Competing claims on natural resources: Agreeing to disagree in natural resource management will be held from 4 – 15 March 2013 in Wageningen, The Netherlands. The overall aim of the course is to contribute to sustainable natural resources management by building capacity to manage (potentially) conflicting claims on natural resources.
The course is suitable for staff from government, private sector, NGOs and research institutes in policy development, management, and R&D positions in the forestry, wildlife tourism, agriculture, water management and fisheries sectors.
The training programme is organized by the Centre for Development Innovation at Wageningen University and Research Centre. Candidates from the following developing countries can apply for fellowship opportunity to participate in this course through the Nuffic – Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP).
