Requests for Applications (RFAs) are invited by Higher Education for Development (HED) in association with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for a women’s leadership higher education partnership in Armenia.
HED expects to make one award of around $1,305,000 for three years for a higher education partnership between one or more higher education institutions in the United States and Yerevan State University in Yerevan, Armenia. The major objective of the partnership is to offer support to national as well as local development goals which promote gender equality and female empowerment.
This partnership is part of an innovative as well as extensive effort known as the Women’s Leadership Program, whose aim is to support national and local development goals that promote gender equality and female empowerment. Subject to the availability of U.S. government funding, HED anticipates issuing a total of five RFAs for higher education partnerships under the Women’s Leadership Program in Rwanda, Paraguay, South Sudan and Armenia.
