The Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota is accepting proposals from organizations for the 2012-2013 academic years’.
Proposals are accepted from Global policy (GPA) and Master of Development Practice (MDP) graduate student capstone courses. Project proposals are invited from organizations working in international political, economic, security, human rights, humanitarian/relief, development or environmental fields.
A confirmation of receipt will be returned for all received project proposals. The selected organizations will be contacted in mid-September 2012.
The value of capstone pro bono projects to the client is difficult to calculate but potential clients should keep in mind that graduate research assistants at the University of Minnesota are paid from $17 to $26 an hour and also receive normal university benefits as well as tuition benefits. A team of graduate students can offer a potentially valuable service for organizations on projects in which their time and expertise is most useful.
Deadline: August 20, 2012
