Teams of RealNetworks employees serve on Grant Review Teams. These teams evaluate grant applications and make funding recommendations to the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The Foundation Board makes all grant decisions.
Community Enhancement grants are made in a variety of sectors (human services, education, arts & culture, climate & environment, etc.) However, during this difficult economic time, organizations that deliver (and advocate on behalf of) basic human services, including those that are focused on job creation, employment and training will be given priority. Typically, Community Enhancement Grants are for a maximum of $10,000.
Eligibility-
To be eligible for a Community Enhancement Grant, organizations must serve a community where employees of RealNetworks are based. Currently, this includes:
- Seattle, WA (Puget Sound Region)
- Reston, VA (Metro D.C.)
- New York, NY.
