“DO GOOD OUTDOORS” is a competition which is aimed at encouraging people to get outside and do some GOOD. The candidate just need to plan how to create social change in the great outdoors and candidate is eligible for a $5,000 grant.
Moreover, spending time outside can make us all happier and healthier, and many of us don’t do it nearly enough. That’s why we have $5,000 to help you use the great outdoors to do GOOD in your community. Whether you want to organize an educational trip to the tide pools, start a rock-climbing club for kids, or plant flowers in a communal garden, we want to know what the people up to.
The participants need to tell how the outdoor project is promoting social change from June 15 to July 19 (noon Pacific Time). From July 19 to August 3 (noon Pacific Time), we’ll open it up to public voting. Rally your colleagues and friends to get behind your effort and join the GOOD community in selecting the winner.
Submission tips:
· Include a photo or video that represents your idea. Photos should be in JPG, PNG, or GIF format, at least 570 × 345 pixels and no larger than 10MB. To include a video, use a YouTube URL
· Write at least 3-5 sentences that explain how the $5,000 award will enable you to implement your idea
Rules & Regulations
· This Challenge is open for submissions from June 15 noons PT to July 19 noon PT. Individuals, nonprofits and groups are eligible.
· Submitted projects must be able to be activated with $5,000. Let us know how you’re going to put this money to work!
· Projects will be featured on this page and public voting will be open from July 19 noons PT to August 3 noon PT.
The project that receives the most votes will win $5,000 to implement their idea
