VET is a Non-profit & Non-political Voluntary Organisation working in kANJANUR villages of Viluppuram District, Tamilandu State. It registered under Trust act. It is also registered with the Income Tax under 80G of Income Tax Act 1961.

Vallalar Educational Trust ( VET)has dedicated it cause for the empowerment of the villages through social, Economical and Children education. development for creating a sustainable village’s atmosphere.
Vision and mission
Vallalar Educational Trust is dedicated to support the weaker sections of the society with a holistic, sustainable and diversified approach.
Its motto: socio-economic and educational development of backward communities and villages, with a focus on child development, youth development, women empowerment and care and support for aged people.
EXISTING PROGRAMS
– Formal Education. vet runs an Nursery and primary school of about 220 children Kanjanur village
– Awareness programs on education, health, sanitation and nutrition
– Organizing Self-Help Groups for women empowerment, economical counseling, and vocational training.
FUTURE ACTIONPLAN:
– Establishing of
o Hospital
o Youth Vocational / Skill Training
o Child Sponsorship Programme.
o Old aged home in needed villages and extending the same for other villages.
o Home for Helpless children
