Applications are accepted for PHILRICE Research Fellowship Program for scientists, researchers, and thesis students to avail of the Institute’s research fellowship program.
Dr. Eufemio T. Rasco Jr, PhilRice executive director, said the program aims to provide career growth opportunities while helping the country achieve rice self-sufficiency.
Research fellowship for outstanding research and development practitioners covers six months to two years. On the other hand, thesis and dissertation funding and graduate research assistantship cover two semesters.
In a related development, PhilRice and Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) agreed on a five-year Memorandum of Understanding entailing collaborations on rice research, training, communication, extension, and human resource development.
Eligibility-
BASC undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to conduct rice researches while the university’s faculty members are welcome to work, on a short stint, as PhilRice research or postdoctoral fellows.
