INF 2012 announces Grant Program for Community Organization and Travel Grants which support social and cultural community organizations in the United States and Travel Grants to Researchers and Academics in India.
Community Organization Grants–
These grants are to help small and medium community organizations in the United States with limited resources to host artists from India or to promote local artistic talent among Asian Indian youth living in the United States. Organizations are encouraged to contact India Network Foundation office with their proposals. All proposals should be submitted at least six months ahead of planned event or function. The grant funds should be exclusively used for sponsored event and no overhead costs or equipment purchases are allowed. Preference will be given to events that involve an artist participation from Rural India and focus on Traditional Indian Cultural Arts.
Travel Grants-
Travel grants are designed to help India based researchers to present their papers at National and International Conferences held in the United States. This program is open all University Faculty and Doctoral Program students in India. The Travel Grants also include medical insurance while attending United States based meetings or conferences for the upcoming year.
