IPPF SARO and Family Planning Association of Nepal (FPAN) invites ‘Expressions of Interest’ from competent and experienced consultants for with expertise in any one or more of the following four areas:
- SRH/HIV Integration
- Gender Equality and Mainstreaming
- Global Fund proposal writing
- Global Fund budgetary processes and financial management
Scope of work/deliverables:-
IPPF SARO and its Member Associations recognize the need for investing on building capacities of civil society organizations with a view towards increasing their understanding of SRH-HIV integration as well as understanding on Global Fund Mechanisms and how the issues of integration could be mainstreamed into the Global Fund proposal writing process.
Eligibility criteria:-
- The selected consultant must have demonstrated expertise on any one (or more) of the following thematic areas:
- SRH/HIV Integration
- Gender Equality and Mainstreaming
- Global Fund proposal writing
- Global Fund budgetary processes and financial management
- Substantial experience in conducting trainings and workshops
- Familiarity with the Global Fund Mechanisms and policies is essential.
- The selected consultant will have knowledge of the Global Fund and SRH-HIV context in the country of consultancy and/or region. Experience of working with policy makers, ministries, health departments and National HIV control programs.
- The selected consultant will be able to commit at least 30 days and maximum up to 40 days (up to 15 each in 2012 and up to 25 days in 2013 as per project requirement and to be communicated in the contract upon selection) to provide consultancy as and when required up till December 2013.The trainings dates are to be coordinated by FPAN and to be communicated to the consultant at least 10 days in advance
