Greenlight Fund seeks proposals for Social Innovation Fund (SIF) Initiative to change the life trajectories of 20,000 of our cities’ children and youth who are too often overlooked and left behind in our education system and economy.
GreenLight will make five-year awards in the range of $750,000 to $1,500,000. These awards will support national organizations to expand their work into one of the three GreenLight regions and undertake rigorous evaluation to improve and grow their impact. Six organizations will be selected: two in each GreenLight location. Organisation looking for nonprofits that have created innovative approaches and shown real evidence of progress toward closing the achievement and opportunity gap for the children and youth they serve.
The SIF uses an operating and program model that is itself innovative and truly represents a “new way of doing business” for the federal government.
