International Reading Association seeks Research Grants for the Member of the International Reading Association (IRA) for which the Study Subject is reading/literacy field in USA.
This grant, established in memory of Esther Zolt, a life-long elementary classroom teacher, may be given annually for a research study on the classroom implementation of In2Books or an e-Pals project and the Common Core State Standards that inspires others to improve teaching and learning in innovative ways.
Tenure-
The tenure for this award is two years.
Eligibility–
All applicants must be a member of the International Reading Association (IRA). Applicants may apply for more than one IRA research grant. However, applicants are limited to one research grant per year.

- Applicant can email there complete Application to the email ID provided in PDF with the name Eligibility “Esther Zolt Academic Research Grant Proposal” in the subject line. Applicant will receive an email- receipt confirmation of their submission.
- In preparing the proposal, please follow these guidelines: Do not include the applicant’s name, institutional affiliation, or any other personal information that will identify the applicant on any part of the application other than the Cover Sheet (provided in the guidelines). This will ensure a blind review of all proposals. The completed Cover Sheet should be sent as a separate document from their proposal. Incomplete proposals, late proposals, or proposals not in compliance with the guidelines will not be eligible.
