United States Agency for International Development Mission Pakistan (USAID/Pakistan) pleased to invite applications for Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) project of a large Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program.
Under this APS, USAID intends to fund from one to three awards with a minimum budget of $1 million for a component of the work to be done and a maximum budget of $21.9 million for the full breadth of health systems strengthening work needed to support the recently approved MCH Program over the five‐year period, subject to availability of funds. All USAID‐funded activities under each Cooperative Agreement will be completed within five years of the issuance of an award.
The goal of the work to be done under this APS is to develop and support innovative, cost‐effective, integrated, and quality programs and services to strengthen systems around reproductive, maternal, and child health services for improved outcomes.
Eligibility
- USAID is seeking applications from international or local non‐governmental organizations, non‐profit or voluntary organizations, duly registered with the Government of Pakistan. For profit, as well as not‐for‐profit organizations are eligible to submit applications under this APS; however, for‐profit institutions will not be eligible for fee or profit.
- have not less than 10 years of experience implementing programs of similar scope, scale, and complexity
- demonstrate credible experience in achieving measurable results, beyond a sequence of activities, in the technical area(s) being proposed which must contribute toward a significant development, which is clearly articulated in the Application
- demonstrate management and technical capacity, including a robust approach to M&E
- demonstrate a track record of successful program implementation and impact with USAID or a similar donor agency in difficult operating environments.
