School of Oriental and African Studies(SOAS) University of London is pleased to offer Doctoral Scholarships in the field of Languages & Cultures.
SOAS, University of London (the School of Oriental and African Studies) is the only Higher Education institution in the UK specializing in the study of Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East. SOAS is a remarkable institution. Uniquely combining language scholarship, disciplinary expertise and regional focus, it has the largest concentration in Europe of academic staff concerned with Africa, Asia and the Middle East. On the one hand, this means that SOAS remains a guardian of specialised knowledge in languages and periods and regions not available anywhere else in the UK.
The SOAS Doctoral Scholarships are available for students who are proposing to register full-time or part-time for a research degree at SOAS in the academic session 2013/14. This scholarship will provide remission of the tuition fees.
