The short course on ‘Curriculum and Assessment for Educational Innovation’ will be held in the Netherlands from 9 September 2013 to 27 September 2013 for a period of 19 days at Cito, Institute of Educational Measurement.
The course aims at people from countries in transition who want to reform their education in accordance with the demands of the 21st century. Curriculum development and assessment are keystones in this innovation progress.
Expert consultants of Cito and SLO will work with you on various aspects of curriculum development, assessment and evaluation. The three-week course has been developed to meet each participant’s needs in curriculum development, assessment and evaluation. Participants will receive a certificate after completion of the course.
The programme focuses on curriculum, assessment and the translation of national policy into school and classroom practice. The themes will be addressed on three levels: macro, meso and micro. More information can be found in the document ‘Content of the course’.

- intermediate advisors and educational support staff, at national and provincial/ regional levels, in charge of curriculum development and assessment;
- policymakers at national and provincial levels.
